"My daughter aged 17 years has been suffering from anxiety attacks for over a year. After visiting the doctors who wanted to prescribe strong anti depressants, we found Alex on her website. I can not recommend Alex enough, she has helped my daughter to manage her anxiety attacks and has dealt with issues that she had. My daughter is now a more confident, happier person and this is all thanks to Alex."

Being a young person can be a very difficult phase in an individual’s life. The passage into adulthood is not only complicated by a torrent of physical, emotional and psychological changes which frequently cause confusion and distress, but also by external pressures from parents, teachers, peer groups and society in general. For parents, who ultimately want the very best for their youngsters, things can also be immensely difficult, but often they feel at a loss as to how to deal with some of the situations that face them, and the relationships between them and their children begin to deteriorate before their eyes.
"Alex's approach helped immensely with my son Matthew, who following my divorce being increasingly depressed and withdrawn. Since the sessions with Alex, he is back to his old self and much happier both at school and at home, and his performance in all his subjects has improved. Thankyou." Ms M, Derby- Parent
Rather than just treating the symptoms of issues such as identity formation, sexuality, drug and alcohol problems and aggressive or violent behaviour, I feel it is important take a holistic approach to treatment which ensures real and lasting change. I acknowledge that a ‘one size fits all’ approach doesn’t work, and so instead of offering a standard package, I assess each case on an individual basis and create a tailored treatment plan which is appropriate for the needs of each and every client.
I currently offer confidential Coaching and Counselling sessions for young people and children in my clinics in Derby, Matlock and Ashby-de-la-Zouch. I also offer flexible sessions via Skype, and work with clients all over the UK and abroad.

Teen workshops are a very useful and simple way of motivating students. They are particularly beneficial when:
• there is a need to improve examination grades
• students are having difficulty with basic subjects such as English or Mathematics
• students are lacking focus and enthusiasm
• students have low self-belief and/or low self-confidence
As an outsider to the school, the students open up to me freely about their thoughts and feelings around difficult times at school, such as examinations or subjects that they struggle to master. They appreciate the fact that the sessions are completely confidential and they take on board the new ideas that coaching illustrates, extremely quickly and happily.
Some of the key areas which students enjoy working on via coaching are as follows:
• Building SELF-CONFIDENCE and SELF-BELIEF
• Developing POSITIVE THINKING
• Increasing and understanding MOTIVATION
• CAREER ASPIRATIONS
• MEMORY TIPS
• Improving HAPPINESS and CONTENTMENT
As a result of coaching in small groups many students have shown a marked improvement in their overall achievement at school, which in turn leads to improvement in their exam grades.
Group workshops offer support and prove to be high in value for the students, yet economic with regard to time and money. They certainly enjoy and benefit from, the new outlook that coaching generates.
